Today’s 30 second review focuses on the latest creation from the makers of the Pillow Pet. The product in question is called Stompeez. Stompeez are essentially animal slippers that make various movements when you stomp your feet. Some have ears that flop up while others have opening mouths. they seem to be from the same company that brought us pillow pets and happy nappers. I ordered happy nappers for easter. they took forever to arive and actually arives late due to a back order that I was not notified about until I called to complain. All there other products seem to be good quality and the kids love them. They do however need better customer service. My advise order ASAP for christmas.
Tried to order playful puppy in purple, comes up in blue. Called customer service,said they would get back to me.Still waiting nine days later.

WOW the SHIPPING AND HANDLING for 1 pair of slippers $14.95 thats just bull. Went to order three pairs for Grandkids and came up to over $100.00 FOR SLIPPERS that is just a plain rip off so needless to say I did not order them. Heads up to every one else.OMG are they made of steel?????????

I also tried to order through the website and was not receiving any discounts, so I called the customer service number above and here’s the actual deal.
It’s 19.95 + 6.95 s/h for the 1st pair and 15.95 + free s/h for each additional pair.
The operator took care of placing my order with no problems. However…she did say they were currently on back order, but expecting a shipment in 2 weeks and they expect to be able to fulfill the order by christmas. She told me to track the order online and if it’s cutting it close or won’t make it I can cancel the order for a full refund.

I was trying to order online the other night but discounts were not coming up, at all!! Thanks for the number & Julie, who posted the real deal offer I was able to call today at 8:15am EST and a recording told me their offices were closed & to call back within normal business hours. However, they that’s all it says, it does not say what business hours are! So frustrating!
I just ordered 2 pair of stompeez over the phone and I had to ask for the 20% off and free shipping for the 2nd pair. He started to tell me that that promotional was over but he placed me on hold for a short while to ask for supervisor approval and he was able to provide me with that discount :)

I ordered my slippers over two weeks ago. I got a tracking number on Monday, and went to track the slippers today and low and behold Fed Ex never received the pacakge. I called customer service to see what was going on, and my item is actually on back order! First of all why would you send a customer a tracking number if you had no intention of shipping out the product, and secondly, why wouldn’t you inform the customer that the product is currently on backorder. I canceled my order and am really steamed. It seems like a complete sham! DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!
This company is ridiculous…talk about poor customer service -it borders on illegal. Fist they refer to a customer service number on the website, but it is never listed. I ordered five pairs over two weeks ago…checking their website for your order status is usless. The sad thing is, they are really cute and make great gifts, but if they cannot get their act together enough to ship their product, they shouldn’t offer it online…too bad they will be OUT OF BUSINESS SOON…people want convenience, not problems when they order online!

The good news is that the makers of Stompeez already has a working relationship with several brick and mortar businesses including Walmart. That should translate to giant shippers of these being available in stores in a few months. (Of course, that does nothing if your trying to get these before Christmas!)
To Admin…thanks for the info. Unfortunately, I do need them for Christmas. I was able to cancel my oder, although it took me 4 days to find a number to do so. TO ALL READERS- CANCEL YOUR ORDER IF YOU WANT THESE FOR CHRISTMAS-THEY ARE NOT GOING TO ARRIVE IN TIME. They claim that they are overwhelmed with orders, but they do not tell you that when you place the order, and in fact make it sound like everything is in stock and ready to ship. Frankly, I think the whole thing is a scam.
I called customer service today. The dragon and unicorn are on backorder also. They expect a shipment in the first couple of weeks of December. If you pay the extra $14 they will ship out overnight once they are in stock. You have to call for the discount. You can’t get it online.
The customer service rep was very nice and helpful.
I placed my order on Oct. 28th…still have no slippers, very frustrated my Granddaughters really wanted these and I have heard nothing from Stompeeze about my oder, other than the confirmation and that they are on back order and I should feel easy that they will arrive in time for Christmas, I just tried their customer service number your options are checking your order status,and speaking to a Representative, I chose option 2, said they were closed and to call back duting normal buisness hours, unfortunately they did not say what those hours were.
I hope they honor their promise and I will get these by Christmas…
I ordered my son a pair of slippers and have yet to recieve the slippers and I have talked to other people about the slippers and they have yet to recieve them either, my son just wanted these slippers and now knowing that christmas morning he will not even get them, how do you explain to a child that santa didn’t bring the slippers…
Lynn – If you’re child is having a time coming to terms with not receiving slippers on Xmas morning please remind him how lucky he is to have socks. Spoiled little brat could use a little more dissapointment…might help him understand the real world a little more.
Like everyone else on this page I too have a problem trying to get my order. I have receipt where they received my order on November 7, 2011, they downloaded it into the computer on November 8, 2011. However, that is all there is….No shipment yet. When I try to find out about it, I am told by recording they are on back order. No date when they may be in. I have been checking on these since 11-22-2011 and can’t even get through to a real person. I sat on hold for 28 minutes to speak to someone and finally hung up. I do not recommend anyone do business with this company. They are a poor excuse for a customer oriented service.
My husband and I ordered 5 pairs of Stompeez on 11/18/2011 and we are still waiting. I also received a discount after I called customer service to inquire about our order and they told me that they would guarantee the delivery by XMAS, but I have my doubts. I will have to call again : (
Very frustrated. Ordered these slippers back early in November for my daughters and their cousins. Received the package yesterday to find they messed up the order. The invoice is right, but the person who packed the box got it wrong. I called today and after waiting for 15 minutes was told that they could not guarantee I would have the right slippers by Christmas. Also that they are waiting for a big order to come in to still fill Nov orders. I am so dissapointed as this was the major gift on all the kids list. Also the XL say it will fit a 5.5-9. Wrong! Thinking they are not going to fit by size 8.5 girl. Very small.
I ordered a pair of these slippers on October 20, 2011. I still have not received therm! My order has been “order in process” for the last week! I wish anyone luck who is ordering them now and want them for Christmas. The company should motivate their employees to get them off their butts!

**** stompeez ! i ordered on NOVEMBER 24th of 2011 and it is my second time calling customer service and complaining, the dumb broad just kept saying “i apologize for the inconvenience.” ***** i want my mother******* order my status keeps saying “in process” since the ****** day i ordered !! where the **** is my **** ?! the crappiest service EVER ! no wonder “As seen on tv” keeps trying to come up with eye-catching bull**** because when one product sucks they try to make it up with another !
Ok, so I ordered Stompeez for my 5 yr old on Nov 28th. I expected them to arrive before Christmas. Only a couple of pairs were listed as being “out of stock”. I placed the order and with in a week, a customer service rep called me about my order status. She informed me that it should be sent out the following week. Since then, they have added “all stompeez are out of stock”. I have yet to receive my shipment, I have yet to be charged, when I call customer service, I sit on hold for 30 mins at a time until I finally hang up, AND when I tried to send an email to them.. I get a mailer daemon! WTH?!!!! This has GOT to be the WORST company in the WORLD! I am cancelling my order! @ Santa… KISS MY @$$! Just because a child will be heart broken on Christmas doesn’t mean he’s spoiled! GROW UP!
Ordered 5 pairs for nieces and nephews,10-13-11,to get a jump on christmas, YES OCTOBER, and have not received them yet.Checked order status today and they still are not shipped. They also changed the sizes from when I originally ordered so good thing I caught that or after this long wait they probably wouldn’t have fit. Very disappointed that they don’t tell the truth about why they have no stock. They shouldn’t be able to continue advertising until they fulfill their current shipments and have extra in their warehouse to accomodate new orders. Good Luck.
Just want to say thanks for the comments. I was going to buy a pair for my soon to be 6 year old for her birthday in 4 weeks as she is dying to have them. I guess I won’t be ordering them online due to what is happening here.

To the negative people that have posted here about spoiled kids…. kiss it stompeez are the only thing my little girl wanted for xmas I understand that some kids dont have socks but just cause you were a brat and mommy and daddy didnt get u what u waneted for xmas dont mean that other kids cant get what they ask for . This world is a tuff place to grow up in I dont belive that you have to show them the way it is when there so little

Something you might consider if they continue to evade direct answers is to contact your local Better Business Bureau. As long as they are members they will have to provide you with direct answers.

I just canceled my order, as I had it placed on November 22nd. I have been told the same thing, every day for the past week that the order is waiting to be shipped, and would be shipped each day I called. I have also notified my bank to block any payment request for Stompeez. If everyone can do a formal complaint with the Better Business Beureau, it would be greatly appreciated. Stompeez just appeared on December 9th and I was the first complaint. This should be a correct link:

Ok, the stompeez I ordered still have not been processed. We have 4 days until Christmas and the slippers have STILL not been shipped! I called customer service on Dec 12th, and the lady assured me that they would be here before Christmas! I have contacted the Better Business Bureau and now I’m filing a formal complaint. Ontel shouldn’t out right lie to their customers. They’ve lost business with me! For others who are looking to order from these people… DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME! I will wait until these hit the stores. I’d rather give my money to Wal Mart than to these wacko’s!
placed my order 11-29-11 still nothing. anytime i call its the same broken record. we will ship tomorrow, we have new shipment in, i assure you it will be there by christmas. tried telling them that i wouldnt be at this address on christmas they dont seem to care. have a 4 year old who is looking forward to opening them on christmas. talk about customer no service.
I also cancelled my order today. What a joke these turned out to be. Its one thing to run out of your supply and that is understandable but to keep telling your customers that they will be there by Christmas when they know they won’t be is a horrible way to do business.

I also have placed an order with Stompeez – I placed my order over the phone ONLY after being assured that I would recieve them by Christmas – after the last 2 weeks of calling and being told “rest assured your order will be there in time to enjoy for Christmas” I finally got an answer yesterday that they are in fact on backorder and I WOULD NOT be receiving them by Christmas – my guess is that regardless of when you ordered if you haven’t received them yet you are not going to. As far as the negative comment about “spoiled” children. You are truly misguided my friend. My children know the true meaning of Christmas and Santa is just a perk – when you have young children that ask for NOTHING else but ONE thing and it is promised to you it is EXTREMELY frustrating. I think that a lot of the anger rises out of being lied to – had it been something for an adult I think people would be upset, but not nearly as much as we are now. You are messing with our Children’s Christmas presents and that definetly crosses the line!

For all of you that have ordered Stompeez, CHECK YOUR BANK ACCOUNTS. I ordered then on Oct21 and received my three pairs on Dec 21 after trying to email them (with every email being sent back) Then calling them, finally getting through to someone that I couldn’t under stand. She said she would give me a $10 discount that shows up on the bill as a discount but didn’t apply it to the amount. I checked my bank account tonight to find that they did charge me the full amount and then I see an additional 6.95 charge to go through tomorrow for something I NEVER authorized. This company is a rip off and I will never order from them again. Horrible costumer service, horrible service and just down right underhanded.
I ordered november the 28th and still didn’t receive 3 pairs, when I called they promised over night delivery which has come and gone without slippers, what a fly by night outfit.
You are right, this company seem to be a rip off. I ordered 4 pairs for my grands for Christmas and had to call customer service serval times. I was told that they were being shipped that day and I would receive them the next day. I even ordered the duffle bags. I am so dissappointed, I wanted my grands to have the slippers for Christmas and was told by customer service as recent as 12/19/11 that I would recieve them before Christmas. This company should really be investigated.
I ordered Stompeez slippers for my granddaughter on Nov. 29,2011 I have the confirmation sent to me saying it is processed and will be shipped promptly. Also the day I ordered I made sure it was in stock and they said it was. Here it is Dec. 24 no slippers. Also my husband called the other day and they said we would get them before Christmas. Poor service.
STOMPEEZ is a rip off and I will never order from them again. If you’ve ordered and had to return, do not reorder because you will get wrong thing again. It’s a shame that we put trust in these informercials and get played
My mom ordered these for my children I too had been told they would be here. I filed a BBB complaint. PLEASE everyone do this. Also, I will be writing to the pres of advertising for Walt Disney and Nickelodeon I think they should know what types of companies they are allowing to advertise on their networks. Shame on this company for not following through.
DONT ORDER STOMPEEZ. We ordered them an entire month before Christmas, NEVER received ANY communication and the week of Christmas we called to inquire and were grfeeted by an Indian call center worker who called himself “Mike” and promised to have them shipped by Christmas. We called again the day before Christmas Eve after NOT receiving the Stompeez as promised and would u believe we got ANOTHER Mike (:-\) He promised OVERNIGHT shipping, which OF COURSE never happened. Now it is the day AFTER Christmas and we are unable to reach anyone to cancel our order. This company is low class, they do not value customer satisfaction nor proper communication. We should have been notified when out order did not ship in a timely manner. Take it from me, stay away from this company or you WILL regret it!
